• Barn- A large building where farm animals and supplies are kept.  Sometimes people will say, "close the door, this isn't a barn."  This means we are in a heated home for people, not an outdoor building for animals.
• Expiration date- this is the date written on food or mediation to indicate when it is no longer good to consume.  Sometimes we can open our refrigerator and smell that the food has "passed the expiration date" because it smells bad.
• Couch- sofa
• Flexible- a person who adapts to new situations quickly is flexible
• Fabric- material used to make clothing and cover furniture
• Naughty- doing something wrong
