About Me

After living in Portugal for 15 years and teaching English in various capacities there, including at the University of Aveiro, I moved back to the United States in 2019. Returning for our church was the best decision we have ever made and God has been so good to us. Reading the Bible everyday and trying to keep the commandments of Jesus are my priorities, along with loving my family and all the people God has put into my life. Helping people is something I enjoy doing, and meeting the individual needs of students who want to learn English is important to me.

Everybody Loves Raymond- Cranky

I’m good- I’m ok, I don’t need anything
Load- a load of laundry is the amount of clothing you put into the washing machine and wash
Underpants- the clothing worn underneath the outer clothing
Ran out- used up all of something
Dresser- furniture in which people store their clothing
Tushy cushion- a cushion especially designed to sit on usually for people who are suffering from an injury
Fatso- someone who is overweight
Bit- a short act, performance, or joke
911- the phone number dialed in the United States in the case of an emergency
impacted wisdom tooth- a tooth (farthest back in the mouth) which has to be removed because of a lack of room in the mouth for it (it is very painful until removed)
wisdom- intelligence, discernment, insight
t.v. guide- a small book with information about television programs and their times
